LeVic offers various value added secondary operations to its Mold Tooling and Injection Molding processes. These operations include, but are not limited to, Sonic Welding, Pad Printing, Chemical Bonding, Chrome Plating and Machining and Assembly.

Sonic Welding

Sonic welding is utilized to bind two different parts using ultrasonic waves. These waves create localized melting points in the parts which fuse and cool to unify the parts without introducing foreign material, such as glue or screws.

Chemical Bonding

When applicable, parts can be bonded chemically based on their material compatibility. These bonds can be potentially stronger than the individual materials.

CNC Machining and Assembly

LeVic has a fully equipped machine shop capable of support operations for your parts, such as drilling and tapping, assembly, painting, etc.

Pad Printing / Hot Stamping

Pad Printing and Hot Stamping can be used to add decorative or functional graphics to your molded parts. The mold's shape and level of complexity has little bearing on the effectiveness and precision of these processes. Depending on your mold substrate, the ideal process for applying graphics will be chosen and implemented.

Chrome Plating

LeVic offers Chrome Plating services for mold tools and prototypes. Chrome plating can be applied for both decorative and functionality purposes. It provides increased surface hardness, corrosion resistance, and simplifies cleaning procedures.
